All I really want in life is a library. Maybe it stems from childhood visits to Chatsworth’s fine old study or maybe it’s the enduring appeal of zooming up and down on a ladder with wheels – my guess it’s just being really, really into books.
I’m some way off having the time, space and money to fund my own library (woe) so for now maybe I’ll settle on the latest candle from Byredo – the Bibliothèque.
Scream! It smells of LEATHER and violet and patchouli and plum and peony, all of which allegedly create the smell of antique books. I’m willing to believe it.
From Liberty, which does smell a bit like a library too.

Mmm. Leather and books. What could be better? ;-)
