Would it be wrong/weird to base my entire A/W look (bored of summer now) on a picture of a witch from a February 1865 edition of Our Young Folks, An Illustrated Magazine for Boys and Girls? I’d never heard of it either, but this morning I was googling… something and this picture just appeared and made my mind up for me. Top knot, big skirt, ugly face, rock that looks a bit like sheep’s head… all good things. I love the cover of a later issue I also came across:
